Minnesota TwinStars FC
The Minnesota TwinStars FC are Minnesota's Premier Men's and Women's soccer team. The Teams currently play in the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) and the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL); a United States soccer league recognized by the United States Soccer Federation and FIFA as a Division IV league. Both leagues are officially affiliated with the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA).
Minnesota TwinStars FC joined the NPSL in 2005 when the League became a national league and added the Midwest Conference. The NPSL is generally considered to be at the fourth tier of competition in the United States soccer pyramid, behind Major League Soccer (MLS), the North American Soccer League (NASL) and the United Soccer Leagues Professional Division (USL Pro). The Minnesota TwinStars FCs NPSL team has won the Midwest Title three times since their acceptance into the league.
Minnesota TwinStars FC joined the WPSL in 2014 and has been growing their presence in Minnesota, providing increasing opportunities for women's soccer in Minnesota. The WPSL is an independent highly competitive national league whose main focus is on the development of highly competitive premier women's soccer teams.
